I never really got Thanksgiving, but now I finally understand.
Thanksgiving is when everyone who reads blogs, that would include you, goes to their ancestral home to fix their parent's computer.
Good for you. Make sure SP2 is installed. Don't forget that their free Norton hasn't had any updated virus definitions since the 90 day trial ended in 2001. Try not to embarrass them by showing how you can see what websites they've been perusing in their browser history. Convince them to spring for broadband even if the 2400 baud modem "works just fine." Replace the ink cartridges in their printer that "just broke somehow last year." Add your blog to their favorites list. And buy them an LCD monitor so the flicker on their old tube doesn't drive them nuts.



This is exactly what the pilgrims were hoping Thanksgiving would become! I'm glad that you have caught on to the spirit :) Too funny...

ha, funny stuff...on thanksgiving day i was on a win98 machine somewhere that kept on crashing. and when i was in arica at the lan peru office trying to buy a plane ticket, ie was misbehaving and the lady at the counter used task manager to kill IE! appalling the software that microsoft corporation makes!!! :)
