Wow this blog has been abandoned for a long time. What have I been up to in the world of social networking? After all, it's my job to think about that. Starting this new blog is part of the answer. Why crosswords? I don't tell many people but I'm addicted to the ones in the New York Times. Maybe you saw the film Wordplay? Those people (including Bill Clinton and John Stewart) didn't seem odd to me at all. :)

This past 5/4, we corresponded re my (then) recent puzzle printed in the NYT. I'd once published under James R. Leeds bit changed to Jim Leeds.
I'm proud to report Will's acceptance of my "Double Down" crossword in a Sunday Magazine Section slot. It'll appear after 8/17 and before the end of the year.
